Is there a better looking window on the market? Elite 70 is a fully shaped, highly engineered window system as practical as it is attractive.
It has never been easier to save time and create the perfect finish. Elite 70's curves have been specially designed to produce clean mechanical joints and to reduce the need for de-burring. Drainage paths are positioned such that drainage slots can be routed in both externally and internally glazed windows without having to spend time resetting machinery.
Elite 70 features gaskets that are extruded to profiles and beads at the point of manufacture. This saves time (no need to roll in gasket after the window has been fabricated); reduces stock holding; eliminates corner gaps and shrink-back; and makes fabrication and fitting cleaner - no need for messy lubricants.
24mm or 28mm knock-in beads (for both internal and external glazing) speed installation and provide a much cleaner glazing platform. Knock-in beads also accommodate more easily the normal variations in glass thickness.
A full range of aluminium and steel reinforcements is available. Profiles are designed to ensure all reinforcements can be inserted quickly and easily.
Special location lugs ensure reinforcements are held well away from "V notch" welds that would otherwise impede the insertion of the reinforcement.
Elite 70 is designed with five chambers, two either side of the reinforcement chamber. This increases ther-mal performance; reduces "cold bridging" and anticipates changes to Building Regulations that will call for greater thermal efficiency.
A range of ancillaries, including arched head inserts and casement horns, means that all tastes and requirements can be accommodated.
